“It has been six years, since we were fortunate enough to meet Annie and Bill of Kosher Caregivers. Our father had passed away, and our mother (87 at the time) was spending winters alone in Boca. She only needed a driver at the time, and Annie and Bill were referred to us by the local JCC. From our first meeting, I knew I had found a new addition to our family. Bill drove for our mother that first year, and as time went on, she was in need of more services.
Also, at the time, I was dealing with elderly parents in the Twin Cities…and only wished that i had an “Annie and Bill” there for them.
I have never encountered such caring, loving and competent people when it comes to caregiving. They are amazingly hands on…day or night. We have never had a moments worry about our mother. For the past five years she has had full time care with Kosher Caregivers. Their caregivers have been exceptional. If there were times that a caregiver couldn’t make it due to illness, Annie or Bill would be there if needed.
There were a couple of hospitalizations, over the year….when our mother told us “I feel like they are my family”…no comment could have made us happier. They make sure she is busy with activities, outings…there is never a time we call or need something that we don’t get an immediate response. They go above and beyond to make sure our mother’s needs are met. In addition to her needs, they have been exceptionally helpful with concerning our needs as well…staying in contact concerning doctors appointments and her general well being.
The continuity is amazing…when our mother is back in Chicago for the winter, she misses their caregivers so much and can’t wait to return back to Boca Raton. There is no doubt in our minds that our mother is thriving today, at 93, because of Kosher Caregivers.”
